Established in 2021 as a vital gathering of minds, FORES has evolved from a foundational “circle of friends” into one of China’s premier, invitation-only society for the world’s most distinguished professionals. While our origins trace back to a shared moment of professional isolation, the FORES of today is a dynamic engine of high-level synergy, designed for those who have already achieved peak standing in their respective fields.

FORES Origins

Many members first connected in 2021 when they were invited by the Ministry of Science and Technology to meet Premier Li Keqiang. During the time before the event, they held informal meetings to share their experiences in China, which eventually led to the creation of Fores. Thus the society’s origins are as exclusive as its membership. In that “pressure cooker” of isolation, these leaders realized that their shared experiences as top-tier foreign professionals created a unique, untapped value proposition for “giving back to China”.
